Kristien Evans
Founder + principal designer
Kristien Evans is the founder and principal designer of Fusion Landscape Design based in Portland, Oregon. Kristien holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Horticulture with a minor in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University. With over twenty years of industry experience, Kristien has a broad knowledge of plants, design, and landscape construction. Kristien's love of modern organic design and passion for sustainability led her to create Fusion Landscape Design in 2005. Fusion Landscape Design's thoughtful and unique landscapes have been featured in publications including Dwell, Sunset, The Oregonian, Gardenista, and Portland Spaces. Kristien is vested in her Portland community and has been honored to lend her expertise to local volunteer design projects over the years. She resides in SE Portland with her two daughters and fluffy water dog, ‘Whidby’. CCB#244410
SUZY KNUTSON
DESIGNER
Suzy Knutson is a landscape designer in Portland, Oregon. Interested in various vocational arts, she began her career in landscape design in 2017 after building a garden in her first home. She specializes in CAD and 3D modeling as a means of supporting the creative process. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Utah and studied Landscape Design at Portland Community College where she continues to teach CAD for Landscape Design. She’s passionate about modern design and lives in SE Portland with her partner and puppy.
